PLANT-BASED, FAST-CASUAL RESTAURANT TO OPEN IN NORTH LOOP

A new fast-casual American Grill that is 100% plant-based is set to open in the North Loop later this spring.

Stalk & Spade will open on the lower level of The Duffey, a new mixed-use project that is nearly finished at 528 N Washington Avenue. The North Loop location will be the third location for the chain which was founded by local entrepreneur Steele Smiley.

The menu at Stalk & Spade will be filled with fast food favorites that will be both plant-based and dairy-free. You’ll find items such as burgers, chick’n sandwiches, chick’n nuggets, salads, wraps, fries, shakes and ice cream.

The new restaurant is part of the same family as Crisp & Green, which also has a location in the North Loop just one block away. Stalk & Spade’s first location opened nearly a year ago in Wayzata and another is anticipated to open this spring in Edina. Another five locations are also planned to open later this year in Miami.

Stalk & Spade is anticipated to open in spring 2022 at 528 N Washington Avenue.
