MINNEAPOLIS CIDER CO. OPENING BRAND NEW TAPROOM

Attention cider lovers! We’ve got news for you.

Minneapolis Cider Co. will swing open the doors to their brand new 3,500 square foot taproom and production facility tomorrow, May 9th, at 3pm. The taproom is located in the north end of the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood at 701 SE 9th Street (just off of East Hennepin Avenue and 35W).

What Minneapolis Cider Co. plans to bring to the table (literally) here in Minneapolis is a whole new world cider that has mass appeal. At their new taproom you’ll find the company’s core ciders along with limited releases and experimental taproom only products. The taproom has ample space for lounging, conversing, and enjoying their delicious ciders sip by sip.

Speaking of those delicious ciders, on opening day there will be three to choose from including an orchard blend, a citrus hop and a raspberry cider. In the future more ciders will be added to the lineup with the company planning to offer everything from sweet to dry, fruited or hopped and everything in between. They believe that there is a cider for everyone, visit their taproom and you’ll find yours.

When it comes to the taproom at Minneapolis Cider Co. it’ll used for more than just enjoying a beverage. The company plans to offer cider classes within the space along tours of the production facility. Within the taproom there is a semi-private event space that is also available to rent and on Mondays when the taproom is typically closed the entire taproom will be available to be booked for private events.

The decision to open a cidery in Minneapolis was due to the significant growth, both regionally and nationally, that the cider industry continues to see year after year. While there may be a number of breweries within the city, cider specific taprooms remain somewhat sparse making it the perfect place for Minneapolis Cider Co. to open up shop.
