A local, award-winning, boutique design firm we introduced you to a few months ago has been up to some exciting work!
Studio Grey has been busy working on several new projects in Minneapolis, such as Doyle Apartments in Dinkytown and The Whim event space in Northeast. The studio has also been working on projects outside of Minneapolis including Riley Apartments in Richfield, and most recently, Getaway Motor Cafe, an upcoming coffee destination in downtown Carver. They are also well-known for several restaurants in St. Paul such as Gray Duck and Handsome Hog.
Studio Grey provides imaginative design solutions for exceptional hospitality-driven spaces and captivated clients. They are a team with maximum passion and drive to push the boundaries of design. With a combined 40+ years of experience in hospitality, multifamily and workplace
design, their talented team is uniquely equipped for projects of all scope and sizes. Their priority is to create authentic partnerships with their clients, making the process collaborative, enjoyable, and efficient.
The women-owned studio was female founded in 2013 by Amanda Maday. The studio specializes in interior design, architecture, and branding from the conceptual stage through construction completion. The firm has proven themselves to be a one-stop shop for space planning, technical construction documents, and design of furniture, lighting, and branding elements such as signage and environmental graphics.
While Studio Grey has completed numerous hospitality/restaurant projects, you can find their team also working on designing multi-family, office, and amenity spacesβ¦ and theyβre not stopping there. The studio is constantly looking to add more diversity to their hospitality portfolio and are specifically looking to add boutique hotels, Airbnb, motels, wellness spaces and dispensaries to their list of expertise.
