BOTANICAL-INSPIRED COCKTAIL BAR OPENS IN NORTHEAST image

A new botanical cocktail bar has opened in the Logan Park neighborhood in Northeast Minneapolis.

Elusive Botanical Bar by Dashfire recently opened next to Tattersall, a well-known distillery and taproom located directly next door. The new bar is built on botanicals and fueled by experimentation. You’ll not only find a warm and welcoming space, but also a menu filled with excellent cocktails (including spirit-free cocktails), tasty hand pies by Vikings & Goddesses, and ice cream by Sweet Science. Oh, and of course Dots Pretzels are also on the menu.

The new establishment features multiple spaces to enjoy a perfectly crafted beverage (or two) such as β€œThe Garden,” β€œThe Bar,” β€œThe Library,” and β€œThe Lounge.” The new cocktail bar was created by Jeff Rogers, a leader in the Twin Cities bartending community, with help from Robb Jones and Tyler Kleinow of Meteor Bar. In addition to delicious beverages and snacks, Elusive also includes a retail space featuring bitters, cherries, cocktails, spirits, hats, books, and more for sale. Elusive also offers classes where individuals can learn more about bitters, mixology, and cocktails.

Parent company Dashfire was founded in 2013 by Lee and Dawn Egbert. The company originally focused on bitters and since then has expanded into cocktails, spirits, and coffee. Dashfire originally was located in Minnetonka and recently move their productions to the Thorpe Building in Northeast Minneapolis. Elusive has been carved out of a portion of their new production facility.

Elusive is located at 1620 Central Avenue NE Dock #10/Suite 152 and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4pm to midnight.
