Xcel Energy Center Is Getting A New Neighbor

Work is underway on a new mixed-use development right across the street from the Xcel Energy Center.

“Seven Corners Gateway” will include not only apartments, but also retail space and a hotel. The site most recently was home to a 2.4-acre surface parking lot.

In total the two-building project will include 144 market-rate apartments in a six-story building and a 120-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in a five-story building. Between the two buildings there will be 12,500 square feet of ground floor retail space and underground parking with enough space for 137 vehicles. In addition, the project will include a large, public outdoor plaza that will also be available for private events.

Seven Corners Gateway is being developed by Kaeding Management and constructed by Doran Construction. The two buildings were designed by Tushie Montgomery Architects.

Work on Seven Corners Gateway is anticipated to be complete in Fall 2020.
