Miller Hill Mall continuing to add new stores

This past week another tenant was announced for the Miller Hill Mall. When I say announced, I don't actually mean announced by the mall, rather it was announced by the retailer. Isn't that what this blog is here for? Francesca's Collections will be opening their first location north of the Twin Cities this Spring and has officially posted positions for it's new Miller Hill Mall location. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the store, Francesca's Collections is a unique boutique with the latest in women's clothing, jewelry, accessories, and gifts. And yes, the Miller Hill Mall continues to fill it's vacant spaces with women's stores.

Many people seem to be scrutinizing the mall lately for their lack of diversity when it comes to new stores that are entering the mall. For the past few years the mall has seemed to be putting in mostly stores that are catered to women (Coldwater Creek, Dress Barn, Aerie, expanded Victoria's Secret, etc). But one must realize that it takes quite a while to create a new tenant collection and that these women's store are usually what tend to attract the stores people really would like (J. Crew, Banana Republic, Express, etc). I believe the mall is working very hard to create a unique and exciting collection of stores, with time we will see their plans come to fruition.

The exact location of the store has yet to be announced, however we can assume that it either will be taking a the space a current store that has to to vacate, or the exterior space next to Noodles & Company or part of the interior space that was formerly half of Old Navy. But that is only speculation. We don't know what the mall has in store exactly for Francesca's Collection at the current moment, but we will let you know when we do!

Expect to be experiencing all that Francesca's Collections has to offer by Spring 2012.
