VEGAN FRIED CHICKEN JOINT OPENING IN SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS
The owners behind The Herbivorous Butcher are opening a new fast casual restaurant that specializes in… fried chicken.
Herbie Butcher’s Fried Chicken will open in late spring at 735 E 48th Street in the Field neighborhood. The space they will set up shop in was previously home to R.A. MacSammy’s Elbow Room.
The new fast casual restaurant will serve fried chicken along with fried chicken biscuit sandwiches, mac and cheese, malts and more that will ALL be vegan. That’s right, this fried chicken will be plant based.
Now if you’re familiar The Herbivrous Butcher (a wildly successful brother and sister owned vegan butcher shop in NE), then you already know that they’re pretty famous for their vegan meats and cheeses. You can expect the same high quality vegan recipes and when it comes to everything on the menu at Minneapolis’ first vegan fried chicken joint.
