STARBUCKS TO OPEN PICK UP ONLY LOCATION ON EAT STREET
Starbucks will be opening a new location on Eat Street that is unlike any other in the state of Minnesota. And no, this is not an April Fool’s joke.
The new, 1,464 square foot location will replace a former Dunn Brothers Coffee located near the intersection of Nicollet Avenue and E 26th Street. What will be so unique about this new location is the fact that it will only offer pick up and will therefore not include any indoor seating or the ability to order from a counter.
The streamlined store experience allows Starbucks Rewards Members who use the app to order ahead and pay. All you have to do next is walk in, look at the status board and see when your order will be ready. But hey, by the time you get there your order most likely will be patiently waiting for you.
Starbucks Pick Up debuted in the New York City in 2019 and has since expanded to a handful of locations across the world. This would be the first location in Minnesota to feature the pick-up model, but likely won’t be the last.
Starbucks Pick Up is anticipated to open at 2544 Nicollet Avenue in late June/early July.
