PETITE LEON TO OPEN IN KINGFIELD NEIGHBORHOOD

A new restaurant is opening within the Kingfield neighborhood. 🍽

Petite León will open later this year at the corner of 38th Street and Nicollet Avenue in a space that was previously home to Blackbird Café.

The new restaurant will focus on global flavors and will truly have something on the menu for everyone. Dishes created by Chef Jorge Guzman will blend together influences from Spanish, Mexican, French and American cuisines. The bar program will focus on classic cocktails and will be curated by Travis Serbus who previously was at Meteor Bar.

Duck Soup Hospitality is the group opening Petite León. The company is a partnership between Jorge Guzman (who was nominated for a James Beard award), Ben Rients, Travis Serbus and Dan Manosack. All four individuals in the past have played very prominent roles at a new number of Twin Cities dining and drinking establishments.

Petite León will open in late summer/early fall at 3800 Nicollet Avenue in the Kingfield neighborhood.
