OPENING FRIDAY, MAY 3RD: COBBLE SOCIAL HOUSE

A unique “social house” is ready to open their doors in Minneapolis.

Cobble Social House will open tomorrow, May 3rd, at 219 N. 2nd Street in the North Loop neighborhood. Joe and Veronica Clark are opening the part bar/part retail store in a vacant retail space sandwiched between D. NOLO and the Monte Carlo. Veronica is actually the owner of D. NOLO so when it comes to the space, she’s quite familiar with it.

Guests who visit Cobble will be able to sip a drink and enjoy some food while being surrounded by beautiful furniture, art, home items and more… and it’s all for sale.

Love those bar chairs you’re sitting on? You can buy them. Love that picture? Buy it. Love that bowl that delicious food just came in? BUY. IT. It’s all for sale, just give your server your order. Also, make sure you come back because there will be new items each month.

When it comes to the drinks, you’ll find a full cocktail menu, an extensive wine list and of course some amazing food consisting of a number of California and French inspired snacks, appetizers and boards.

The space may be small (the bar only seats 5 and the entire place only seats 39), but it’s also truly unique and something different for not only the North Loop, but Minneapolis as well.

One thing to note is that standing at the bar isn’t a thing at this place. If there isn’t a seat available, you’re going to have to wait. Don’t worry though, there is a paging system that your name can be added to.

Last but not least, there isn’t huge sign… so look for a large eye. You’ll see it, we’re sure.

Cobble Social House will be open seven days a week from 4-10pm.
