Naf Naf Grill plans Downtown Minneapolis location

If you're a downtown Minneapolis worker you're about to get another food option in your vast skyway system. Naf Naf Grill, a Naperville, Illinois based Middle Eastern fast casual restaurant chain is planning three Twin Cities locations including one planned for Downtown Minneapolis.

Clare Kennedy of the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal broke the news that the company is planning a new location in the skyway level of US Bank Plaza. Other well known restaurants and retailers within the building include Caribou Coffee, Chipotle, Jimmy Johns, and Woullet Bakery among others.

Obviously being the chain currently has no presence within Minnesota at the current moment we thought you might need a little introduction. So have no fear... and read below.

Specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine, Naf Naf Grill offers a wide array of foods. The process works a little like Chipotle as the MSPBJ said. First, you choose whether you'd like a pita or bowl (filled with rice, lettuce, or hummus), then you pick if you want Shawarma (think gyro meat style but chicken or steak) or Falafel. Then you add in your salads or garnishees. finish it off with a sauce, and add a side if your heart so desires. One word; yum.

If the words above didn't help you out, this nice video will too.

Currently the company has 14 locations in Illinois, one planned for Wisconsin, and then the three planned for Minnesota (Minneapolis, Eden Prairie, and Maple Grove). Naf Naf Grill also is listed as a possible tenant for Woodbury's City Place development.
