A popular sandwich pop-up shop is opening a permanent location in Northeast.
Martyโs Deli will open later this year at the corner of 4th Street and NE Lowry Avenue in a space that previously was home to The Hive. Martha Polacek plans to open the new location after a year of operating a pop-up shop multiple days a week at local area businesses.
The menu at Martyโs Deli is centered around hearty sandwiches crafted using fresh-baked focaccia, savory meats, fresh vegetables, and delicious aioli. The deli also offers vegetarian options and chicken salad sandwiches. Best part, all pickles, breads, and spreads are made in-house.
Martha opened Martyโs Deli in 2020 after moving back to Minneapolis from NYC where she worked at several different kitchens. The goal of having a permanent location has always been on Mathaโs mind since Martyโs Deli was created. Martyโs will continue to pop-up around town throughout the summer, be sure to check out their website for each weekโs pop-up locations and the menu that will be offered.
Martyโs Deli will open later this year at 400 NE Lowry Avenue.
