Brasa is heading South.
The wildly successful restaurant that currently has one location in St. Paul and another in Northeast Minneapolis will open their third location later this spring.
Located in South Minneapolis at the corner of W. 46th Street and Bryant Avenue S., the new restaurant will occupy space that previously was home to Studio 2 Cafรฉ. The new location was picked after Brasa held an informal poll on their social media as to where they should open their next location. An overwhelming number of those who responded said they would like to see another location in south or southwest Minneapolis. Brasa decided to grant their wishes.
Brasa is known for their nourishing food โthat is inspired by the traditional ingredients and flavors of the Southern U.S., Caribbean and Mexicoโ according to their website. On their menu youโll find things such as smoked beef, slow roasted pork, rotisserie chicken, gumbo friend rice, chorizo-potato chilaquiles and more.
Brasa opened in 2007 in Northeast Minneapolis just a block down from the intersection of Hennepin and Central Avenue at 600 E. Hennepin Avenue. That location was so successful that after two years a second location opened in St. Paul at 777 Grand Avenue. Things are always better in threes though, right?
Brasa Premium Rotisserie is anticipated to open in late May or early June at 818 W 46th Street.
