Commercial Development | Century Plaza (1101 Third Ave S)

Swervo Development Corp. has purchased the vacant Century Plaza building in downtown Minneapolis for $7.5 million, with plans to convert it into a hotel and a new police station. The development will include a 149-room hotel with rooftop amenities and 36,000 square feet for a new First Precinct office for the Minneapolis Police Department. The site, across from the Minneapolis Convention Center, has been vacant since 2017 and was previously used for county offices and as a vocational high school.
