PINBALL BAR OPENING IN SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS

View fullsize

The owners of the wildly popular Nightingale restaurant on Lyndale Avenue have decided to focus on a new endeavor; Pinball. Well, Pinball and more drinks.

The husband and wife duo, Jasha Johnston and Carrie McCabe-Johnston, will open Tilt on the ground floor of the recently completed Chroma Apartments at 113 E 26th Street. That's right near Eat Street, Minneapolis' block after block of good eatin' and good drinkin'.

Eight different types of all-beef hot dogs will be served at the bar. Toppings will include house-made garnishes including items such as kimchee, kraut, caraway-beer mustard and more. There'll also be a chip and dip section with house made potato chips, hummus and pita, cheeses and additional deliciousness.

Tilt will include a full bar serving local beers and wines. While you're sipping on your favorite brew you'll have the ability to play one of the 15-18 pinball machines planned for the bar. John Galvin from D&G Amusements in Hugo will be the one supplying the pinball games with some of them being classic throwbacks.

Tilt is scheduled to open on April 1st at 113 E. 26th Street in Uptown.
