WORK BEGINS ON FINAL PHASE OF BLUESTONE

Construction is now underway on the final phase of BlueStone, a mixed-use project located along Woodland Avenue just across the street from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Vue at BlueStone will be a five-story residential building that will include 193 luxury, market-rate apartments along with underground parking. The building will be located on what today is a vacant site behind the Shops at BlueStone.

Units within the building will range in size and include studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units. Units will feature β€œbalconies, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, oversized windows, expansive ceilings, custom wood cabinets, plank flooring and more” according to the project’s website.

Amenities within the project will include an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, a steam room, fitness center, a group fitness area, a great room, game room, co-working spaces, a large outdoor terrace and a fifth-floor clubroom.

Developer Mark Lambert originally had proposed a mixed-use building as the final phase for BlueStone. The project was envisioned to include a grocery store along with more student housing, however after negotiations with a grocer fell through the plans changed. The new plans include no retail space but does include nearly 50 more residential units.

The Vue at BlueStone will be managed by Summit Management. The company already manages BlueStone Flats and BlueStone Lofts, two residential projects that are also located in the BlueStone development.

Work on Vue at BlueStone is anticipated to be complete in August 2021.
