Country Kitchen bids the Twin Ports "Farewell"

December marked the final month that the Twin Ports had a Country Kitchen location. By early January if one was to visit that last location all the would find is neatly flattened site, free from any type of building. The location I am talking about is the Proctor location on the top of Thompson Hill. The closing of this location marked a 20+ year presence that Country Kitchen had in the Twin Ports coming to an end. It's first location, had closed in early 2006 after plans for the new Miller Trunk Highway redevelopment finally went through. That location was closed, razed, and made into wetlands. Now that the Proctor location is closed you maybe wondering what is going to happen to that site? Oh don't worry. There are plans in progress. You'll have to check back Monday for more information though!
