AutoZone to open in Superior

If you look really, really, REALLY, close at the windows above, you can see a coming soon size propped on its side (or the giant super-imposed logo we placed on the building). It's for AutoZone, the automotive accessories and parts retail with over 5,000 locations in the U.S., who will be opening their third Twin Ports location in Superior this summer. The location set to open at 3615 Tower Avenue is in part of the space formerly occupied by Dollar Days. This is the site that has sat vacant for the past few years after Dollar Days departure... a site that has become a pretty funny sight to see recently while driving by. Why you ask? Well, Dollar Tree decided to build a location right next to the former building that was at that moment... still branded as Dollar Days. Nothing like competitors staying in close quarters.

Now the average AutoZone location is NOT over 20,000 square feet like the former Dollar Days space is. So we'll keep you updated on what other retailer or retailers will be filling the space.
