Revival Smoked Meats is making the move from St. Paul to Minneapolis.

The popular restaurant will move to a new location later this summer near the corner of 46th and Nicollet in the Kingfield neighborhood. It’ll be the second Revival location for Minneapolis and will be located just three blocks south of the original location.

Chef Thomas Boemer and Nick Rancone have decided to move their restaurant from Keg & Case to a space on Nicollet that was previously home to another restaurant of theirs that closed in 2019 called Corner Table. While the new location will be in good company as Revival’s other location is just down the road, it’ll differ from the other as it will specialize in smoked meats.

The new location will feature seating for 50 indoors and another 75 on a massive, updated outdoor patio. The restaurant will also feature table service, a full kitchen and a full bar that will include a number of keg crafted cocktails in addition to other cocktails, beer and wine.

The menu at the new location will continue to focus on Southern cuisine and will feature authentic Carolina barbecue that is created from Southern tradition and classic Minnesota ingredients. Things you’ll find on the menu will include items such as brisket, smoked pork belly and even Revival’s famous burgers.

Revival Smoked Meats plans to open later this summer at 4537 Nicollet Avenue.
