A new vegan café has opened in Downtown Minneapolis along Nicollet.
Coconut Whisk Café recently opened for business in a space directly across the street from Target’s Downtown Minneapolis location that was formerly home to Haskell’s Wine Bar.
The new café offers an entirely vegan menu filled with reimagined pancakes and waffles, several different bubble teas, and Vietnamese coffee. The café also includes a retail section where you can find the company’s baking mixes for purchase.
Coconut Whisk is a mission-driven vegan and gluten-free food brand that was founded in 2018 by Myles and Bella. The duo decided to start the company after going vegan and seeing the immediate impacts it made on their health, the environment, animals, and the planet.
The company sells several baking mixes that are easy-to-make and are dietitian-approved, dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, peanut-free, soy-free, and non-GMO. In addition, all products are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients and come in 100% recyclable containers.
Products that Coconut Whisk sells include pancake and waffle mix, mug cake mix, cookie mix, and muffin mix. You can find Coconut Whisk’s products not only on their website and at their café, but also at several co-ops within the Twin Cities and Milwaukee.
Coconut Whisk Café is located at 905 Nicollet Mall and is open Thursday through Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
