CALIFORNIAN-INSPIRED RESTAURANT TO OPEN DOWNTOWN image

A new Californian-inspired restaurant will open later this year on the ground floor of Minnesota’s tallest building.

noa will open in a space in the IDS Center that was previously home to Mission American Kitchen. The new restaurant and bar will serve chef-crafted and seasonal fare that will include dishes like tacos, sandwiches and salads along with craft cocktails, wine and local beer.

The entire space noa will occupy will be reimagined by Chicago-based Barker Nestor. When complete, the restaurant will feature an environment that is filled with warmth and energy that will be able to seat 240 individuals. In addition, the restaurant will include private dining rooms and will include a patio in the Crystal Court.

Infusion Hospitality is behind the restaurant, the management and consulting company is based in Chicago and focuses on creating food and beverage concepts for corporate facilities, college campuses and hotels. The company has created a number of different experiences for restaurants and cafes and is also behind Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea, which has a location in the North Loop along with several locations in the Chicagoland area, Milwaukee and Dallas.

noa will be located at 77 S 7th Street in Downtown Minneapolis and is anticipated to open later this fall.
